Last year, Lucy asked me if I wanted to do an art project with her. Little did I know how much fun it would be, or how quickly it would become a window into that specific piece of my journey. The Sketchbook Project, sponsored by the Brooklyn Art House Co-op, is a traveling library of books created by artists across the globe. You send in for a sketchbook, fill it with creations, and send it back. They add it to an exhibit that is displayed all over the U.S. Below is a sneak preview of a couple pages in my sketchbook. If you'd like to see the rest, go to http://www.arthousecoop.com/library/9181 and create a login (its free and easy and worth it!). If you are in the Bay Area, you could also check out The Sketchbook Project live in Oakland June 1st-17th.
